I am Professor of Global Business Management at Regent’s University London, and the Faculty’s Assistant Dean for Research, Scholarship and Engagement. I have hands-on experience in leading research projects with a good track record of achievement.  I have been in the field of Business and Management for over 30 years and well connected in the area.  I research in Entrepreneurship, Performance Management and Heritage and have a clear understanding of the challenges ahead  I am the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Business Performance Management and have published extensively in a variety of Business and Management journals with over a hundred articles and ten books. I Chairman of Ming-Ai, a charity focused on community projects that promotes British-Chinese welfare in the UK and active in the Anglo-Sino research area. I am also the Special Interest Group Chair for Performance Management of the British Academy of Management.


Jonathan is Professor of Global Business Management at Regent’s University London. He is the Faculty of Business and Management’s Assistant Dean on research, scholarship and engagement. He researches in Entrepreneurship, Performance Management and Heritage.  Jonathan is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Business Performance Management with Inderscience Publishers.  He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Islamic Marketing, book review editor of the Journal of Technology Management in China and on the editorial board of leading academic journals in Pakistan and Hungary. Jonathan publishes extensively and has over a hundred articles and ten books published in subject areas relating to Business and Management. Jonathan is on the Council of the National Conference of Universities Professors, a Council member of the Universities China Committee in London, a Fellow of Higher Education Academy and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Jonathan is Chairman of the board of trustees of the Directors of Ming-Ai (London) Institute, a British Chinese Heritage Charity. His primary research interest lies in three areas concerning Performance Management, Entrepreneurship and Heritage.
